Elizabeth gave two presentations: one called “How to Milk a Goat, Make Raw Milk Cheese, and Stay Out of Jail,” and one entitled “Herbal Remedies for Goat Ailments.” She also conducted a goat milking demonstration for children. We estimate that 100 kids–the two-legged kind–attended and took their turn at milking a goat. It’s great to see the look of wonder on their faces when they realize that milk is coming out of the goat, and they made it happen! Many thanks to Sunrise Farms, who provided two beautiful and very patient goats for the presentations. Hi! I was one of the attendees at the presentations in Asheville. They were wonderful and I really enjoyed them. While going through my fair notes (and I’m pretty late doing it) I believe that Elizabeth offered to send her presentations if you contacted her. So, I’m hoping that was correct.
